It has been a while since I have dropped the morning link dump… Just wanted to get that back up and flowing again. So here we go:

HOUSTON –  Pinch-hitter Joe Inglett had a tiebreaking single in the seventh inning and the Houston Astros beat the San Diego Padres 5-3 Saturday night.

Richard will be making his first appearance ever against the Astros. An unearned run caused by his own throwing error probably denied him a 2-1 win over the Reds last Tuesday night at Petco Park. He is 14-10 with a 4.91 ERA in 46 career road games, including 36 starts. The only three Astros Richard has faced in the past are second basemen Clint Barmes (7-for-17), Bill Hall (2-for-5 with a homer) and Matt Downs (0-for-6).

Need starting pitching? Try Aaron Harang of the San Diego Padres. Harang, owned in 33% of leagues according to ESPN, is 3-0 in as many starts. The former Reds ace has notched 16 strikeouts in 18 innings for the Padres as well as a sparkling 1.50 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.
