Friar farm check

Triple-A: Tucson Padres 12 – Salt Lake Bees 9

12 runs! Can we send some of those runs up to the big league squad? Everyone in the lineup got a hit and both 1B Anthony Rizzo and 2B Logan Forsythe hit a home run in the game. C Guillermo Quiroz drove in 4 runs in the game.

Double-A: San Antonio Missions 7 – Northwest Arkansas Naturals 4

Casey Kelly took the mound against the Naturals and pitched 6 innings and only gave up 3 hits and a run while striking out two. Jaff Decker drove in 3 runs to give him 11 on the season going 2-for-5 in the game. Bothe James Darnell and Cody Decker hit a home run in the game.

Class-A Advanced: Lake Elsinore Storm 0 – High Desert Mavericks 4

The boys were shut out in the game just like the big league squad. The team left 8 men on base and went 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

Class-A: Fort Wayne TinCaps 1 – Bowling Green Hot Rods 4

The TinCaps were without Donavan Tate and Everett Williams in the outfield, because of their collision in the outfield a couple of days ago. They were only able to get 3 hits in the game and 2 of those hits were from 1B Tommy Medica.
