Triple-A: Tucson Padres 4 – Salt Lake Bees 5

The game went 15 innings, and the Tucson Padres were not able to pull it out (sound familiar). Wade LeBlanc pitched in his 2nd game and did much better, going 7 innings and striking out 5 while giving up 3 runs. 2B Logan Forsythe finally had a tough night at the plate going 1-for-7 with 3 strikeouts.

Double-A: San Antonio Missions 6 – Tulsa Drillers 0

LF Jaff Decker went 3-for-4 and hit his 2nd homerun of the season with 2 RBI. SS Beamer Weems batting average is now up to .409 with his 3-for-5 performance. He drove in a couple of runs to give him 7 RBI on the season.

Anthony Bass pitched 5 2/3 innings of 4-hit ball and struck out 7 to get his second win on the season. He lowered his ERA to 1.54 after that performance.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 5 – Lake Elsinore Storm 2

P Matt Lollis took his second loss of the season, giving up 5 runs in his 5 1/3 innings of work. C Jason Hagerty was 2-for-4 in the game, but the team was only able to score 2 runs.

Class A: Fort Wayne TinCaps 0 – Bowling Green Hot Rods 1

Mark Hardy suffered the tough luck loss pitching 6 innings and only giving up 1 run with 5 strikeouts. The offense was not able to give him any run support… sounds a little like the big league club. Two of our top prospects, Donavan Tate and Everett Williams, were involved in a collision in the outfield and both left the game.
