Can we get Richard some run support?

The pitching has kept us in the ballgame in all of our losses thus far, but the bats have not been able to give the Padres enough run support to get the victory. The runners get into scoring position and we have just come up short in getting the hit to drive in runs. We will have to find a way to score some runs for Clayton Richard tonight.

Richard last pitched in the rain-delay game and was only able to pitch in one inning. He gets the start today and would appreciate a little help from his friends.

Here is tonight’s Padre lineup:

RF Will Venable .179, 1 RBI, 4 R
2B Orlando Hudson
.313, 5 R, 2 RBI, 4 SB
3B Chase Headley .250, 1 HR, 7 RBI
LF Ryan Ludwick .107, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 1 SB
1B Brad Hawpe .154. 1 RBI, 10 SO
Nick Hundley .393, 2 HR, 7 RBI
CF Cameron Maybin .258, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 3 SB
SS Alberto Gonzalez .300, 3-for-10
Clayton Richard 1-0,  3.86 ERA
