Wade LeBlanc gives up 6 in loss to Angels

Wade LeBlanc took the mound against the Anaheim Angels fighting to keep his spot as the 5th man in the starting rotation and his performance today did not help his cause. He started off with 2 solid innings, but in the 4th inning he was hurt by the long ball. He gave up back-to-back jacks to Torii Hunter and Vernon Wells in the 4th inning. Then Brandon Wood hit a 2-run shot off of LeBlanc in the same inning.

The Padres got into the long ball act with homeruns from Eric Patterson and Ryan Ludwick. Patterson finished with 3 RBIs and Ludwick with 2 RBIs on the day. Chris Denorfia was 3-for-3 on the day.
