Padres Sign SS Gregorio Petit

The San Diego Padres have signed SS Gregorio Petit. Petit may be in competition for the utility role for the Padres. We will see what he can bring to the team in the spring.

We still are waiting for the completion of the Jason Bartlett trade from the Rays. There is a hangup with either Cesar Ramos’ or Adam Russel’s physical and the Rays have asked for a second opinion on it.
