Closer Heath Bell is on the trading block heading into the off-season. Bell finished the season with 47 saves and a 1.93 ERA. Many teams will look to acquire the closer in hoped of helping out their bullpen. The Padres will be looking to add prospects to the organization.

For the Padres bullpen, look for Mike Adams and Luke Gregerson to take the closer role. Both players had an excellent season last year and should fill into the position well. The Padres have the luxury of a stacked bullpen and have the ability to fill in any holes in the lineup or rotation with a trade of Bell.

We will miss his firey personality on the team and some of the post game comments that he came out with. He was always good for a sound clip and was one of the most confident players on the team. He is a big personality in the locker room and in the bullpen. Hopefully the guys are able to continue to get things done if he is moved.
