The hitters of the Lake Elsinore Storm had another big day on Thursday in a 7-4 defeat of Inland Empire.

Leading the way was Vince Belnome, who was 4-for-4 with a double and a walk. Now batting .281/.400/.463, Belnome continues to look like a prime sleeper prospect who may eventually be capable of starting at second or third base in the majors.

Drew Cumberland went 3-for-4 with a triple and an HBP. He stole a base and was caught stealing. Cumberland continues to be one of the best hitters in the minor leagues, at .394/.439/.587.

Everth Cabrera, on rehab, went 2-for-4 with a walk, and Cole Figueroa had his second straight multi-hit game.

Jaff Decker was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his first game of the year, but he did manage to work a walk.

It looks like the Storm are finding their offensive stride of late.
